Scheduled exports - Converting to an Excel file

    In This Article:

Exports sent to email, from Salsa, will export as a link to a zip file, which contains a Tab-Delimited Text file.  Once you download and unzip the zip file, to obtain the Tab-Delimited Text file within, then you should be able to open that in Excel.  Sometimes, your workstation may not be set up to automatically recognize that, so we usually recommend opening Excel, going to (File > Open), and then browsing to the Tab-Delimited (.TXT) file.  Excel will generally know how to open the file, but it may ask you for the separator, in which case you'd choose 'Tab'.  Then, in Excel, you can re-save the file in whatever format you'd like.
