      Form Letters are thank you letters or an E-Thank You that can be ‘attached’ to one of several screens in Salsa CRM. For example, you can ‘attach’ a thank you letter to the donation screen. This enables you to select the specific donation thank you letter at the time you are entering a donation – you can even print or email it directly from the donation screen. The Acknowledgment and Honor Postcard letters display on the Acknowledgment Wizard and the Donation Statistics Wizard. There are six Form Letter types: Donation, Acknowledgment, Solicitation, Event, General and Receipt.

      Creating a Form Letter is a two-step process:

      1. The first step in creating a Form Letter is to create your template document. Salsa Labs Provides downloadable templates for thank you and donation receipt form letters that enable you to easily craft and upload form letters into Salsa CRM.       2. Once your template has been created, you must use the configuration screen to define the type of template.  This will make the template available to you on the appropriate Salsa CRM screens.  For example, Thank You document templates will be available in the Thank You letter field on the Donation screen after the template is defined as a ‘Donation’ type.
