      Create the Document

      To create Thank You Letter and/or Acknowledgement Letter templates, use the Word Processing software on your computer.  Create the document and insert the desired variables.  The variables require a double bracket  on each side of the variable text - as shown: {{Today's Date}}.  Create your letter and save it as an .docx, .doc, or .txt file.

      Add Document to Salsa CRM

      Once the documents have been created, they need to be added to the database.  

      1. Click Manage > Documents
      2. From the drop down menu on the Word Processing Option screen, click to select Store a document of any file type that is on my hard drive
      3. Click the Select Files button
      4. From the Open Explorer window, click the Custom Files button and change the Files Type to All Files
      5. Locate the desired document and click to select
      6. Click the Save to Database button
      7. Click the Close button

      Once the Acknowledgment Letter Template is created and added to Salsa CRM - view the article for Adding an Acknowledgment Letter Template to the Acknowledgement Wizard.
