Once your supporters have signed your petition, promote supporters who have signed your petition on your live form or export petition results to provide to the stakeholders.
Add a "Signatures" element on the main page or on the confirmation page to publicly display names, cities, or comments. If you moderate your comments consistently, view the signature element on your main page and print that page to provide to stakeholders. Alternately, Campaign Managers can export all details of a petition to a CSV file to provide to stakeholders.
Add a Signature Element to your Petition
- Select the Activities menu item on the left.
- Select the Petitions tab at the top.
- Scroll down to the bottom of that page and select the Petition by clicking once on the name.
- Select the Compose tab at the top.
- Select the Design menu in the top right corner of the form creation section.
- Select the Elements button
- Drag the Signatures element to the area on your form where you want the signatures to display.
Pro Tip: If name and address are not mandatory, your signature section may display quite a few "Not Given" entries in your Signature element. You may want to make Name fields mandatory in your form design. - Save and Republish the form.
Export Petition Details to a CSV File
- Select the Activities node on the left in Engage.
- Select the Petitions tab at the top.
- Scroll down to the bottom of that page and select the Petition by clicking once on the name.
- If the form is published, the Results tab will display. If not, the Results tab at the top.
- Scroll down to the bottom of that page to the Signatures section and select the teal colored button to Download Details as CSV.
