There will be times when you are missing data after scheduled sync jobs have ran and will need to have the supporter's data like donations, activity submissions or other activity resent to Salesforce.
There are two possible scenarios that apply when this is needed and there are two different methods to get the data resent to Salesforce.
Option 1 - Resend option from the supporter record
- Go to the Supporter Record and Click the Salesforce tab
- Click the Resend to Salesforce button
This will add a Manual - One Time sync job to the Sync Log and will show on the supporter record Salesforce job log.
Option 2 - Resending using the Salesforce Settings
If there is a message that says "This supporter has been sent to Salesforce. However, to sync with a Contact record, it requires review in the "Salsa Engage New Supporter Queue". Click here to view the pending queue entry for this supporter in Salesforce", use the following steps to get the data to salesforce.
- Create a empty Static Group (naming convention can be anything)
- Add Supporter records that are missing data in Salesforce to the Group
- Go to Salesforce>Resend Data>Engage>Specific Data in Engage>Supporters>Specific Supporters>Supporters in specific groups, then choose your newly created group with the orange pencil icon
- Click Resend data between Engage and Salesforce
This will add a Manual - Partial Resend sync job to the Sync Log that will push the data over to Salesforce.
